Yes I am also finding it tough!

I would like to know if anyone managed to get hold of one of the papers referenced by the Johnston paper ( http://annals.org/cgi/content/full/120/2/135) ? I think it is Question 4.1. I emailed the lecturer about it but I haven't had a reply yet.

Nope -- Also struggling to get those articles that are referenced by Johnston.

Did you get hold of the paper by Huang Y et al : "Evaluation of Outcome Prediction for a Clinical Diabetes Database"? Its one of the papers listed in the tut letter.

I also emailed the lecturer but i didn't get a reply.
She is hardly ever in office.

Hey

I think I know how to get hold of some of the articles referenced by Johnston.
Using the Unisa online information resources, you can search the database of electronic journals for the article. So you just need to get the journal of the article you want, then you can probably get hold of the article also... Note however that not all the articles are free.
