Registration

Conference Registration fee includes:

• Conference attendance
• Conference proceedings
• Light evening meal on day of arrival (13 July)
• Conference banquet (15 July)
• Brunch on 14 and 15 July
• Breakfast on 16 July
• Evening game drive (14 July) Please provide own drinks and snacks.

Accommodation

A block reservation has been made for accommodation.

This consists of:
• Bungalows (3 single beds, air conditioning, fridge, hotplate, sink, utensils, WC and shower)
• Family cottages (1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 bedroom with double bed, 2 bench beds in lounge, air conditioning, kitchen, WC, shower and bath).

A minimum of three people will be allocated to each bungalow or cottage, on a first come, first serve basis, starting with the family cottages. As far as possible, a bungalow/cottage will be allocated to an institution, which allows delegates to decide who they will room with. Naturally, a larger group (maximum 6 people) can choose to occupy a family cottage.

Delegates who prefer to use alternative accommodation to Berg-en-Dal are advised to arrange this timeously. The options for alternative accommodation are as follows:
• campsites at Berg-en-Dal – please make own arrangements
• one of the many lodges outside the Kruger National Park, such as Malelane Lodge – please make own arrangements.

Please note that own accommodation outside Berg-en-Dal will make it impossible to attend the conference banquet and game drive, as the gates to the Kruger National Park close at 17h30.

Conservation Fees

Daily conservation fees are payable on arrival. Each delegate will be responsible for paying this personally on entering the Kruger National Park. Daily conservation fees for 4 days Local: R128 and for International: R532

Transport

Subject to interest, transport by bus to and from Berg-en-Dal can be arranged in groups of 16 from
• Oliver Thambo International (The bus will depart at 12h00 on 13 July and arrive at 19h00 on 16 July.)
• the Main campus of Unisa (The bus will depart at 12h00 on 13 July and arrive at 19h00 on 16 July.)
• Nelspruit Airport (Subject to arrival times of delegates, the bus will depart from Nelspruit Airport no later than 16h00 on 13 July and arrive at Nelspruit Airport by approximately 15h00 on 16 July.)

Delegates are advised to take precautions against malaria (malaria pills etc) as this is a malaria area.
