Hi there, Another student recently uploaded a PowerPoint presentation, with help on integer representation and floating-point format, to the Unisa section of my website. You can download these notes (and upload your own - please do!) and also read about COS113 and other modules on the wiki. For the moment, there's only info on what the COS113 exam was like and some Octal / Binary jokes bby Bronwen - COS113W
Ha ha, yes, that's all - though still a lot to memorize! Don't forget to download the multiple choice questions too BTW, I recently added a wiki to the site and started working on the INF305 page. There are some useful exam tips up there, as well as some info about last year's exam. Anyone can edit the wiki... I must just get round to writing a Help page for it now!! If anyone's interested... there are some study notes for this module that you can pick up from the Unisa section on my website. (These notes are my original solutions to dozens of problems). There's also a COS301 page on the wiki with tips for the COS301 exam Bronwenby Bronwen - COS301Y

Hi Bob, No need to worry. No-one has contributed anything for COS311... yet, and when people upload docs they don't automatically appear on the site. Rather, I get an e-mail notification, and then manually insert the notes on the page - after proof-reading them Bronwenby Bronwen - COS3114
Oops... Slipped my mind that this was an assignment question(!) The notes are down now... temporarily. They'll re-appear after the due date which is When, btw?by Bronwen - COS3114
Hi, If you'd like a 29-page summary of Preece's textbook, you can pick it up from my website. Included are only the chapters that were prescribed for last year's exam. The study guide was also incorporated into these notes. If you'd like to contribute any of your own notes to the site, please do so Bronwenby Bronwen - INF320E
Hi, Just about everyone probably has the textbook by now. If you don't, or if you'd like a concise 27-page summary of the syllabus, you can download one from my website Someone else has also uploaded a summary of a previously-prescribed textbook. Any other contributions from other students would be great! Bronwenby Bronwen - INF307H
Hi, I did this module last year and summarized Pressman in 56 pages. This is a chapter-by-chapter summary of all the prescribed material, and includes answers to (almost) all the problems at the end of the chapters . The answers are actually incorporated into the notes. Yellow highlights = the textbook questions that were answered in the study guide. Blue highligts = the 'unanswered'by Bronwen - INF305F
Hi, When I did INF303 I managed to summarize one (only 1!) of the textbook chapters: Chapter 9, on Transaction management and concurrency control, in 7 pages. Hi, I recently uploaded some case studies I did for INF207 to my website. These include UML models, such as Use Case diagrams, statecharts, sequence diagrams, etc! Sometimes it can help to see someone else's drawings I'd really like to build up a huge collection of notes up there (There are already over 40 sets of notes), so please uby Bronwen - INF207E
Hi, I found some really nice case studies in a library book that I did when studying system modeling for INF206. These include my answers, done in Visio (context diagrams, functional decomposition diagrams, and system diagrams).
