I have checked:

Thanks lionelzone for the help.
I used the code you provided, however where i use currentList = account->this(); i get bank_impl.cc:146: parse error before `this' error. account is created by
Account_impl * account = new Account_impl();
I use ::Account_ptr ptr = backup->second; to get the pointer from the currentList. gmake gives the following errors:

I am having difficulty in assigning accounts to an account pointer.
I use Account_impl * account = new Account_impl(); to create an account.
Then currentList = &account; to assign account to the map I use to hold all accounts opened/functioning while bank is operating. So when bank is deleted/deactivated I run though currentList and update/delete accounts appropriately

This is the makefile i use. 1st Run it creates files currency.o; server.o but no other files and no exes, "g++ -D_REENTRANT -DHAVE_ANSI_CPLUSPLUS_HEADERS -Wall -Wno-deprecated -mthreads -

if i run command: g++ currency.cc it keeps printing error: currency.h:8:19: CORBA.h: No such file or directory. What i don't understand is that the files currency.cc and currency.h where create when i ran the idl -c++-impl command.
Are my enviroment paths incorrect and thats why g++ can't find corba.h
