Thanks for having a look at it.
Yup, tried Safari, but have the same problems as with Firefox. In the meantime I've taken another route as far as the "visibility" option is concerned by using image swapping. At least the latter is not browser dependent.

I seem to be having a problem viewing dynamics styles with Firefox (works fine with IE). For example, I can't view the map arrows in jscode/webpages/xmap.html. Could this be a function of my browser settings?

There is a major distinction made between hacking and cracking. A hacking website I looked at dealt with useful open source software. However,a cracking website Yacam had plenty of documents and software to download, for example flooders, trojans and network sniffers.
Security problems could be prevented using security software, authentication, firewalls, etc.

In fact, by the time the page appears the user/customer has lost interest. Thsi might be a case of designing a site using complicated templates... The cheapest domain names I found were at Godaddy.com. For example a .com domain costs $9.99 with Godaddy compared to $35 with Register.com for a 1 year registration period.
Domain names can be registered for as little as $1.99 if other products are purchased, eg. hosting.
