OOP for Assignment 1?

Since this is Advanced Internet Programming based on OOP, do we have to do assignment 1 using OOP or Structured Programming? Because from my point of view this assignment doesn't need OOP. Does this mean OOP starts when we get tut 102 and OO1.pdf and all the questions on Tutorial Letter 101 require structured programming?

I was really hoping for something that would challenge me more than the portfolio we did in our second level nonetheless lets enjoy what's at hand.
