Help with EasyPHP
July 11, 2013 12:21AM
I have installed EasyPHP but the error "Apache cannot be runned: another web server use the web port or port is blocked by firewall" comes up. I have searched through semester 1 forums and have not found any help. Please advise...

Try this:

To overcome this issue :
1. Click the EasyPHP icon beside the “Apache” button.
2. Click “Configure” then click “EasyPHP“.
3. Uncheck “Check server’s TCP port before starting” then click “Apply” button and then “Close” button.
4. Click “Apache” button and then click “Start“.

Just a tip on installing EasyPHP on Win7. I installed it under the program files x86 and did not allow to save my php files because of permissions. Therefore try to install on the root directory of c which will allow you to save. It should then read c:\easyphp when it ask you to confirm the directory
