Easy PHP

Hello, I am now complete with the first part (introduction) and second part (variables).
I have been coding on notepad and running my programs succesfully on mozilla firefox Web browser.
I have encouted one problem
1. As explained in the notes the red dot on the"e" should flash whenever programs run. My red dot never flashes
but my programs are running ok NB: My Server (Apache) and Database (My Sql) are green indicating to me eveything is installed and started correctly.
I am also using Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit
what could be the problem?

It could be just that the graphic for displaying the red dot is not displaying correctly on Win 7. As long as your scripts run correctly and you get the correct output. Mine is doing the same on Windows 7 Professional.

I believe in: If it's not broken, don't fix it...

I am on Windows Vista, my red dot is not flashing too but I am working fine.

Hi, well I don't know about Easy PHP... I used WampSever easy to setup and use.... Was using Xampp before but it's kind of the same... I think as long as we can do the work it shouldn't matter what server we use.... I'm actually running on Mac so I user the mac version of WampServer which is MAMP.... ignore if it's irrelevant but thought I introduce some alternate servers to use....cool...happy PHP Programming...

What is the experience of using Easy PHP like? I have not tried it.

Hai. My pc has been stolen and now i have new laptop runing w7. The problem is that the easyphp i have installe does not run at all. When i am tryng to run my script that i did in notpad it says"do u want open or save file" plz help

Try reinstalling it or installing xampp?

i have installed xampp but still. Do i need to download other version of easy php?

The issue is not EasyPHP but IE.

My E flashes when only apeche is running but whn mysql run it stops flashing though i cn run my script
