Keep in mind that the portfolio must contain EVEN.PHP, LEAP.PHP, SERVER.PHP and VALIDATION.PHP + OOP1 -> OOP7

Tut 101 included some portfolio pages to give you a head start. The headings clearly say Assignment Page, Portfolio page.

Yes that's right, but I asked you on September 18, 2012 09:31 AM about the the menu link if we should continue as stated in tutorial letter 101, and you said yes.

I don't understand the problem. Tut 101 says which is assignment, which is portfolio requirements. Then you continue the portfolio as in tut 102, including the required portfolio links as included in Tut 101. And if you want to keep all inks, even assignment 1 links, then that is OK.

Hi Mac
I'm about to upload my portfolio, so my problem is the output in oop4 does not match the output in oop5. When i select user Lucas Radebe in oop4 i received the following output:User known as: Roo, Friends with:, User known as:Roo. Should i remove the user Lucas Radebe from table user or modify the table user_friends and what values should add on table user_friends?

Hi Brian

You will have to create an extra table in the database for oop5. Hope you understand this, I had the same problem.

The thing that makes me uneasy is that the name we give the portfolio , when uploading, is the wrong Course Code prefix :

ICT2613_Portfolio_Sem2_2012_VandermerweTM_1234567

Eventhough this course is ICT3612. I know it wont accept the file if we change it.

Any one noticed that ?

Hi mac,
What is the consequence if one has uploaded his/her portfolio and everything was correct when he/she did so but when you have to mark it you are not able to view the pages?
I am quite surprised to see that my portfolio is not showing anything concrete when I open it on some PCs (like unisa lab), you can view the source code and the title of the page (the index page - event.php) but you can't see the content of that page on the browser.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do because I did everything single thing on time and I want to make sure I am on the right path.

The PC it is viewed on is irrelevant since the code is generated on the server side and pushed to the browser. I can only assume an older page is caught in the proxy server of Unisa, and one will have to press Ctrl + F5 to force the proxy server to fetch the latest page.

Hi Mac,
I tried the ctrl + F5 combinaison but nothing works. I guess there is something that blocks those pages because on other machines I am able to open them.

Dear Dr Van Der Merwe

Please be advised that I have submitted my portfolio in a working condition on 12/09/2012. But now I have realized after some time that it cannot connect to server for OOP4 & OOP5 with the message displaying "couldnt connect to server" and also the display button/select is gone now.

Please advise what I should do in this case as I don't know by the time you marked it was working fine or not.

I submitted my portfolio the second semester of 2012, it was marked, but I did not pass. I was given a supplementary. I would like if there are any other requirements for the supplementary and when it is due?
