i found one of the definitions for the word "cascade" sheds a light on the context

"A succession of devices or stages in a process, each of which triggers or initiates the next"

"the cascade" was also a nasty virus back in the good ol' dos days.

After reading, and then re-reading this, I thought I understood it, but obviously not, as I cannot get the activity 2-2 to work.
I would appreciate some help.

I'm going to move on in the meantime.

Thanks
Adrian.

Decided to give it another go before moving on, and have solved my problem.
I incorrectly made the element a part of my style in the HTML page.

Found this very confusing at first but after a couple times re reading it it eventually dawned on me which code goes in the CSS and which in the HTML. Lesson 2 definitely ups a gear in level of difficulty. More examples would be useful.
