Hi All

If you are running OSX Mountain Lion and need to test the mail function locally this worked for me smiling smiley

There is,,, just Google for "mail XAMPP" e.g. http://expertester.wordpress.com/2010/07/07/how-to-send-email-from-xampp-php/ but you need to be connected to the Internet of course.

XAMPP is awesome on windows, it has smtp built in. The Mac version only seems to have apache and mysql... You could try MAMP on mac if needed

Built in SMTP for windows yes please! Installing Xamp, been using Wamp all this time with PHPMyAdmin, I also use another app Navicat to look at and query db's ...
