Anyone perhaps found an easier or shorter method for Pagination?

I've seen a few, the best explained was on: http://php.about.com/od/phpwithmysql/ss/php_pagination_3.htm searching for some more. I've discovered the one in the handbook in Chapter 3 doesn't really accommodate many pages and actually requires you to hardcode the "page" links and numbers.

Pagination is generally automatic numbering where there is too much information for one page. Don't think it is applicable here. Hardcode the menu in a menu.php page and simply include it on all pages is the simplest way.

ok cool.

I think i could use it in the project though, for displaying all the students, for instance if there had to be 1000 students, viewing them 20 at a time instead of the full 1000 on one page could make life easier for the administrator?

Yes, you could do that. But I am not going to add a thousand students in testing your code smiling smiley

Hey Mac,

Was wondering if there is any room for ajax requests on forms? All the validation will be handled by php though ... Still finishing up the course work, chapter 16, but will do the front end and planning this weekend ...

If you can handle ajax you should not be doing this course.....!

Really? I have found the course challenging somewhat, I would say there is definite value in it ...
