Hi

im honest when i say i just dont get this.

Im using windows 7 and loaded xampp, when i check the status on xampp the apache is not enabled is this correct? but i can start and stop apache and mysql? how can i test my code without loading it onto the free web hosting site.

Internet explorer doesn't want to open my code i get a blank screen or the option to open/save or cancel and when i click open it just repeats the message.

i have googled the problem but i dont have any luck so far.

Please can anyone help me

You must start Apache (and later for the portfolio when you work with databases, MySQL) from the XAMPP control panel. Do not tick the services button.
