It appears some versions of IE parses the text file, i.e. your code is not shown as text.

Strictly speaking, you should have
Language: HTML
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/plain; charset=utf-8" />
in your header, but this is not guaranteed to work.

There are fixes that one can do to the registry of your PC, but that is also not guaranteed.

Just use Firefox or Chrome.

confused smiley How will i know if it will or won't appear in your browser because it works well on mine and on the internet after uploading it?

Well, it always works in Firefox, and that is what I use.
