It seems like myUnisa has won the post-grad crowd - they don't even know about Osprey (although it's mentioned in the tutorials). :-(
And nothing's going on here - despite some people complaining about the subject codes being incorrect.

I am registered but got in very late (April) because of some confusion with my registration. I am debating dropping one of the subjects (HPCOS81) because I had to catch up quite a lot on all of the courses and already missed the first assignment due date. Does anyone know the implications of dropping a course in honours?

Well, dropping HPCOS81 would mean that you would definitely not finish in 2 years!
You are not allowed to do HPCOS81 and HRCOS82 in the same year.
So, you can't do the 2 subjects together next year.
Hence, you need to register for a 3rd year.

Heya!! How are you all finding assignment 2?
Have a question about these journals we are supposed to be using. They say that it should be related to the topic we chose which are pretty broad. So are we supposed to narrow it down further to specific areas in the chosen topic? This question has been bugging me for a while but never asked yet :O

@Stirls: I know someone else is going to narrow down to a specific area in his topic. I haven't considered doing so - still busy with another module's assignment that is due before this one.

All the INF one's in the end, but starting off this year with only the research and HCI subjects.
