Submitting Assignment

I've always been submitting my assignments as MS Word documents on myUnisa.
I know that with INF425, students have to submit their assignments as PDF documents.
I now find that I prefer submitting my assignments as PDF - are there any restrictions on submitting assignments as PDF with INF462?
I mean, the assignment can be in PDF format, it doesn't have to be in a specified format, right?

I have always submitted my assignments in pdf format, but I stick to the word formatting anyway.
I created a template in word in first year, and I have been using it ever since. It has a header which has my name
and student number on the left, with subject and assignment number on the right.

Then it has age numbers at the bottom.

You should still send it as black and white.
