You need to work through the CD tutorials (which is under license from Home and Learn).
This is the introduction, and should take about 6 weeks to work through.
It may not appear like a lot, but it is a very good introduction tot PHP and the reason we have licensed this from Home and Learn. Do not just read through it - run the code yourself.

The real fun starts with the portfolio. I have made the tuturial letter 102 available for download. Read through it to get an idea of what awaits, but you should finish the CD tutorials first.

I received an SMS saying that I can access the study material at myUnisa but couldn't find it.

While i'm waiting for the CD to arrive, where can I download the tutorial letter?

There is a welcoming letter with the CD that provides this information. The course marterial is not on myUnisa - we do not use myUnisa for this course..

The assignment doesn't come in the post with your CD you need to download the tutorial letter.

Assignment 1 is a requirement by law, so I submit a mark based on your forum participation, as described in the tut letters. You do not have to submit anything.

Hi KingCom,

If you have the handbook you can start reading through it, or you can check out killerPHP - OOP it's on the CD, there's also information on PHP Security that's on the CD, which you can google and read up on.

From the welcoming letter (did you get that), go to the website and download the tut letters.
