From the third edition, are the lecturers refering to the believe-state space in figure 4.14? Or am I missing something here?

The bookshops I phoned around do not have third edition yet, so can't help you there.

Ok, so Figure 4.14 is a good way to make a nice reference.

Just remember, we must still do question 4 as it is stated in the text book, then compare that form to the one stated in the tut letter (alternative initial believe state).

Hope you guys can get some light on the question from this.

Yep, I think it is. Taking a look at the questions in the tut letter shows some difference.
