Extension of certain assignment submission dates for Semester 2/2011

Due to a postal strike the University has extended the assignment submission dates for those assignment which have submission dates prior to and including 22 August 2011, to 29 August 2011. Note that this concession is only applicable to students registered for semester 2 of 2011. No further extension of assignment date will be considered.

The original assignment due dates will still display on myUnisa and you may find that on submission it might indicate to you that your assignment is late. You can ignore this message. Your assignment, if submitted by 29 August 2011, will be accepted.

It seems we have an extension. Does anybody see any flaw in that conclusion?
