I just noticed something, if you add all the subtotals up you get 70 not 100.
I presume the mark out of 70 will be converted to a mark out of 100.
That means your practical questions will be worth more, hence a better mark and pass!

Hope that cheers you guys up smile

P.S: Do you think they will mark the Gnatt charts if done in pencil?

Normally they specifically specify that pencil is allowed if it is. So the default is that it is not. Why take a chance? Just leave yourself more space than you normally would, and make corrections into the spare space.

Good to hear the calcs are a big percentage of the end result, indeed. I was wondering how that could be so if the main two added up to only 34%, and now we know how. smile

When it comes to the page replacement question (which I think one should hope for), I'm going to use 4 lines. Reference string goes on top, 3 lines for 3 frames (I don't think they'll give more frames). No little boxes for the frames. Vertical slashes will slice it all up. For some reason it helps me to consider little details like that. Somehow fixes the thing in the skull cavity.

Hi there,
I too am hoping for more practicals. The theory, well I did learn some of it, bt couldn't quite get myself to memorise everything!I am also so used to doing Gantt charts in pencil, better remember to do it in pen. Anyways good luck everybody- may the force be with us.

What I'll do if I have time: is do it in pencil and then rewrite it in pen.
BTW: in the project management module they allowed Gnatt charts in pencil.
Edit: suppose I could put the details( a,b,c / 1, 5, 6 ect) in pen and the graph in pencil.

I usually add the symbol pf, under each column when a page fault occurs.
Helps with the calculations later on.

@Tazz: Good luck to you too.
