I compiled the first program on page 32 of the 501 guide. It compiles successfully. No error messages, it generates the com and lst file. i run it and it displays nothing.

If I run it on an XP machine, it displays Hello World. If I run it on my Windows 7 machine, it displays a blank line. Weird.

PS On a side note, work colleagues get very cranky and paranoid when you want to try out your assembler program on their PC's.
