Well, I'm back again.... Don't really know what happened in the exam ? Epic fail of 39 :-(

I got 35...exactly the same as last year sad smiley

I thought i was better prepared this year, but the exam was a little different from what i expected confused smiley

Third time lucky hopefully sad smiley

Apparently there is a new textbook this year

no... I thought the paper was ok, worst case I assumed 50%.... eish. Yes, new textbook and approach. Ken said he didn't like the structure and amount of maths in the material we used so he's changed stuff abit.

I really need to pass this. was planning to do just cos project and inf461 this year.... oh well, adapt and win smile

I wanna wrap up this Hons next year feb.

I got 75% (year mark + exam)

I liked the Math.. but I would agree that a different text book might be good. I thought sometimes their explanations got a bit unnecessarily dense.
I really thought they explained NP really well though.
What text book they thinking of?

I thank this forum for uplifting my spirits - now I know that out of the for 4 contributors, 3 failed. Just recovered from the shocker - 27% - my lowest ever in ANY exam in my entire life. I thought the worst I would get was 40% - was hoping for 55%-65% ! It will be interesting to calculate the student-percentage pass in this module.
Finally - another (hopefully last) year with UNISA.

lol - I actually though I would get around 60-70% . My year mark was 86% . Well , I'm gonna send for a remark, in the meantime I will have to re-register.

I think out of all the courses, this is one of the more harder ones... formal program verification was also hectic but I passed well the first time. Anybody remember computer architecture in 2nd year cos - the one with NASM ? They had some hectic passrate stats in the tut 101 .... failure rate of 60% or so and 2 students still doing the course for 5 or so years....

At least I loved the assembly module (was it COS201 or something else?).

well, remark came back with 47% as a final mark . I'm so pi$$ed.... What dee do ?
