Can you please explain the input parameter of a unique number, e.g. five digit unique number.

Thank you!

Where did you get this? What is it that you are trying to do?

The question as follows: The class should contain 3 data memebrs namely title, full names and a unique 5 digit personnel number, then later you need to compare the numbers (1st 2 digits the year) to check if 2 employees joined the same year.

Ok. This is a data member that will hold "unique" numbers. There is no special data member to do this. You can either use an integer or string. But a string will be more appropriate since you are not going to do any mathematical operations on it, like checking which is bigger.
