postgraduate assistants

The School of Computing would like to appoint a number of postgraduate assistants a.s.a.p.

Candidates should be registered at Unisa for an honours, master's or doctoral degree in Computing.

The positions are for five hours per day.

Contracts are for one year and renewable for a second, based on performance.

Only full-time students may apply.

Salaries for half day are as follows:

1. Assistants registered for PhD are paid on lecturer’s level (P8) – R154 903 p.a = R12 908.60
2. Assistants registered for Master’s are paid on junior lecturer’s level (P9) - R127 887 p.a. = R10 657.25
3. Assistants registered for Honours are paid on P10 (P10) – R103 223 p.a. = R8 601.90
