On the Student Reg page, how much of the student info do you want to be mandatory?
I presume for your testing purposed you wouldnt want to fill in every single field each time?

Quite right...
You're not getting marks for Javascript validations, so leave it out. You can test for empty fields with PHP though, but if the script validates my ID number (and 13 11111111111111's are not acceptable) then it detracts from what I am interested in..... your PHP skills
Oh yes, im not talking about javascript. Ive validated everything using php but just wasnt sure if you wanted all fields validated or just certain ones?

Validate for empty fields is no problem. If you want to validate for more, then just have the form pre-filled in with a default value e.g. an ID number. I look at the code so I will pick up if there are validation code. It may sound like I am lazy to fill in forms, but the focus is not on validation but on the interaction between code and the db.
