TO The Lecturers:

I dropped off my assignment 2 personally at UNISA
(assignment box) 2 weeks ago, but today when I
checked the website it says that my assignment
was only received *today*!!!

Whats the problem here? I cannot blame
the postal service for this, as it was dropped
off in *person*!!!

Am I not going to get credits for this
assignment?

Can I ask why you don't use myUnisa to submit your assignments?

Much more reliable than dropping in assignment box.

We are aware of the fact that there has been a delay in registering assignments and will accept assignments received/registered after the due date within limits. Please wait until you receive your assignment back and then contact us with the specific details if you still have a problem.

There hasn't only been a delay registering them -- but mine has still not been shown as marked.
It's been over a month already. Anyone else in the same situation? Same story with INF307 Ass1.

I think the problem is simply that there are literally hundreds and hundreds of students registered for these database courses and UNISA therefore struggles to mark everything in reasonable time. I haven't see any marks yet for INF 307 assignment 1. I got INF 303 assignment 1 back yesterday. It's over 3 weeks since the due date for 303 assignment 2 and no sign of marks, but I'm not too concerned. It's to be expected. Just chill out.

I think they specify somewhere that the marking of assignments will take 6 weeks.

got 15 stinking credits on my assgnmnet got it back and see that it some other persons assignment . mad as hell and no time to sort t out
