You can pay at any Unisa office, at any post office, at ABSA and EFT. R150 per exam under "Study fees".

Study fees pdf

... provided the deposit slip is correctly filled in as follows:
o Credit – Unisa Student Fees
o Dep Ref
– the first eight blocks are for the student number. If the student number consists of only 7 digits, then an ‘0’ must be filled in for the first digit of the student number;
– leave one block open, then fill in the number: 5400374721 for study fees 5352X74608 for Matriculation exemption fees
o Acc no – fill in 4048746711

This is the part I don't get...
1. The exam results said R140, web site R150 - ?
2. What is the ref number for deposit? "5400374721 for study fees 5352X74608 for Matriculation exemption fees" Neither is applicable here...

Looks like I have to go in and stand in line. would have been nice to do with Internet banking.

Don't want to be too optimistic, but the supp felt much easier than the original exam!

Yes Reanie, the supp felt much better for me too.

I smiled when I saw that question on thrashing unlike the last time when I frowned...smile

@thamo: On the safe state question - did you get a safe state or not? I didn't and someone else did. Now we need another opinion to try and find out which of us were correct/wrong and must now stress.

@Reanie:I did get the safe state. That question was from one of the 2008 assignments, the one that you sent to me last year

Yip, this exam was a beauty.
Any idea when we should expect our results?
Feeling good about this one.
I only got a safe state after the first process at T1, thereafter it was no longer a safe state.
The leason I learnt here: "Helps when you study all the chapters!"

@kubra:
1st year you get multiple choice because you've got to memorize everything.
2nd year you get 1/2 multiple choice & 1/2 application of knowledge.
You are now 3rd year, you are tested on how you can apply the knowledge you have learnt throughout the year. No more easy, pick 1-5 questions, you write essays and do sums or applications
For this subject, 2/3 theory (including essays sometimes) & 1/3 application of theory by way of "sums".
It's not a difficult subject, but can have a lot of information you need to remember.
(Above is generalization.)

@kubra: Definitely make certain you do as many as possible of the "sums" that they have. I've lost a lot of marks because I didn't get them right.
