Free Lecture Videos from one of the authors : Paul Ezust

There have been a few complaints recently about the choice of this book, and I agree that the book seems to assume a lot regarding our knowledge, and can be difficult to follow (especially for me whose programming experience is only COS111 and COS112), but since watching one or two of his lectures I realised that the book is just a collection of the course notes/slides. When you listen to the lectures he explains everything, and obviously goes into a lot more detail.

I've just downloaded the whole 2009 course from itunes, now just need to watch them (it is only about 1.3gigs for 49 lectures averaging 45 to 60mins each) when you take into consideration that you can download the full course for free from the author of the book, I think that this was a great choice of book, and I highly recommend the videos for anyone who is struggling and has the time to watch.

Thanks a lot man, this certainly sounds interesting. I am going to download it and check it out. But if it is the case that the lecturers want us to view the movies as well, they should have told us, don't you think? I mean they are giving us pretty much zero info from their side anyway, wouldn't kill them to tell us about this.

Will try to download it next week. If I can't might also need it on DVD, prepared to pay the cost. Someone made a valid point. Why can't the lecturers or administrators add it to the official study material or the 2010_Disk or an additional disk or something.

Hi Chair,

To download the lectures right-mouse click on the name of the lecture you wish to download. Select "SAVE TARGET AS" option. Then show the path on you computer to the folder where you'd like it to be stored. That's how it did mine. It works fine.

Please make sure that you select the right format which can play on your computer.
