Now that the due date for the first assignment has passed and the results out, is it possible to get a memo so that corrections can be made.

Im also a bit confused about the " open book" exam. is this invitation to bring all material that may posibly help to attain a pass to the exam room?

Sorry - I missed this post. We will provide some sort of memo later - the main purpose of the assignments is to ensure you have worked through the book. The essay type questions do not have a right or wrong, so to speak. It gets marked on your interpretation of the question and more than one answer is acceptable. .

Open book means you can bring whatever material you want. That implies that we ask application-type questions, i.e you do not just copy text from your material (specifically the handbook) to the answer sheet. So there is no studying required - having worked through the handbook with the assignments you will have a good idea what sections of the handbook to apply. This does not make it easier - you will have to really apply your knowledge!
