Assignment 1:

Q9 - I say option 2 is correct - Plans are normally based on methods, not the other way round.

Q19 - I say option 3 - as per INF305F

I'd say methods are based on plans. I think "plan" in this case mean the project plan before execution.

Question 15 model answer says ROI = (annual profit / total investment) * 100 [answer 2], but I reckon it's: ROI = (avg annual profit / total investment) * 100. Ammirite?

On pg8 of the textbook it says "A plan for an activity must be based on some idea of a method of work."

What does it say about a plan for a project and not an activity?

Question 23 is incorrect as well methinks.
The model answer is option 3 which shows a Payback Period of 5.75 years for project B, but I calculate 5.67

Anyone with the 2007 assignments: Assignment 2, Question 1.1 - I think their answer is incorrect. At the first activity just after A, the latest date is given as 15, but I think it should rather be 8 as the whole project will be delayed if it were 15.

Activity 2 isn't part of the critical path
B-D-G-H is - and the latest that B-D-G can finish is week 24, thus the latest F can start is 15

All the best peeps.

I realise that activity 2 is part of the critical path, thus any change to shorten the total duration needs to take place on the CP, but the number 4 activity is still dependent on activity 2, wouldn't that force activity 4 to be delayed if activity 2 only finished in week 15.
