access programme exemption

Does unisa automatically apply for exemption for you after completion of access course or do you have to submit the form with your docs yourself (the m30)?

I was told it is automatic by the admin dept a wek ago but the call centre now insists I have to fill in and mail the form myself. This will result in more delays for my registration. They already have my id and matric results anyway so it seems a bit riduculou that I have to mail it again to the same building. I'd have to go get everything signed and certfied by some police department too - I did this last year!

I don't recall having to submit any special forms.
