A few domain registration services include http://www.africaregistry.com, http://www.digitaldomainz.com, http://www.intoweb.co.za and http://www.five8five.co.za.

Prices vary from R30.00pm – R75.00pm and even as high as R500.00pm. Things like Disk space, Traffic (international) and Traffic (SA) have an influence on the price.
It is important that you find out how big you want your site to be before registering a domain. The Domain registration fee goes to the host, sometimes a client might pay you and then you eventually pay the host. I was not able to find any ISPs who provide a free domain registration service, but a lot of them have a free service where you can look if the domain you want is available.
