Domain name registrars and cost for registration:
Cozahost.com â€“ R284 for all domains & R200 renewal pa.
Ehost.co.za â€“ R150 for .co.za & R200 for .com/.net/.org etc.
Telkom.co.za â€“ R419 for all domains & R119 renewal pa.
Mweb.co.za â€“ R137 for .co.za & R342 for .com/.net/.org etc

Part of the registration fee goes to the ISP, who in turn pays a central domain authority like Uniform or Dotster, who then pays ICANN. The difference in prices is probably due to the mark-up each ISP adds. Some ISP offer free domain registration and/or renewal feeâ€™s with hosting packages.
