1. Register the website at a domain name registry service.

2. www.sadomain.co.za, www.afrihost.com.

.CO.ZA : R100
.COM : R100
.INFO : R100
.BZ : R300
.NET : R100
.BIZ : R100
.CC : R300
.ORG : R100
.CO.UK : R200
.EU : R150
.TV : R400
.WS : R300
(Info gotten from http://www.sadomain.co.za/services/300-syndicate.asp)

The fee goes to the domain registrar.

3. .CO.ZA : R100, .TV : R400. Local ones would be cheaper, international domains are meant to be more expensive from what i have seen on other domain registrars

Completed Successfully with no problems what so ever! smiling smiley

Dorac again.

Also stumbled on afrihost, another is http://www.digitaldomainz.com
There is an initial registration fee then the yearly fee, both sit at about R100 for co.za . The money probably goes to the ISP (domain registrar) but im sure they have to pay someone who has to pay someone untill it gets to some non-profit organisation smiling smiley The small isp's are hoping you will use other services they offer like setting up dns records, hosting space and email, so they might dangle a free domain with some terms and conditions.

Lol Ally, are you stalking my posts or something?? tongue sticking out smiley he he. All the ISP's in SA that offer those domain registrations link up to co.za, in your browser type at the top just "co.za" thats where all domains get registered.
