Exercise 7.4 reads "Write an applet that combines the applets in Exercises 5.7 and 5.8.. etc"

Exercise 5.6 is the last one in Chapter 5. confused smiley

Or am I being silly?

Hi Eugene,

This is an error in the textbook. You must refer to project 5.2 & 5.3.

Let me know if you get it right because I am struggling with the strategy design pattern.

I'm also a bit stumped with his one. Has anyone got an idea of how to do this? I have got all the abstract classes done, but seem to be lost as to how to call them from the applet?

Can anyone send me the solutions to Project 5.2 and 5.3? My Project 5.2 did not compile and I see no solutions have been posted. So now I cannot do this question either.

7.4 refers to Pie and Bar charts. The only questions in chapter 5's exercise/projects section that refer to Pie and Bar charts are projects 5.2/5.3. Hope that helps. I'm busy with 7.4 now... The company I work for is in a major roll out of its software and I'm upto my eyeballs in work... Its stuffed me around wrt my studies. I hope there will be a "bonus" assignment that allows us to earn more credits. sad smiley

Well you can probably ask for an extension. One good reason would be to mention that we still did not received our 3rd assignment marks which is inacceptable...
