Microsoft South Africa now has an academic version of Expression Web available but has discontinued their FrontPage academic version. You can still use FrontPage for the course - see assignment 3 on your CD for the book details. You can also download an evaluation version (60 days) of Expression Web from Microsoft - it is about 250 MB. See (1)

Adobe now has an academic version of Dreamweaver CS3 available but has discontinued their Dreamweaver 8 academic version. Note that the two books that may be suitable for Dreamweaver CS3 (I am still waiting for copies) are not as good as the Training from the Source books - there is unfortunately not a Dreamweaver CS3 Training from the Source book.
As an alternative you can therefore use the trial version of DW8 on your CD (for 60 days) and order the DW8 Training from the Source book - see assignment 3 on your CD for the book details.

Note: You do not need a student number to order the textbooks - you only need it to order the academic version software. Academic version software is the same as the retail version but you cannot use it to make money. Note that you will only need the software towards the end of August.
