Link between TL501 and TL101 for examination purposes

Very important:
Although Tutorial Letter 501 states on page 5: “Each chapter, included for examination purposes, will be included in this study guide.� the lecturers have decided at the end of last year to add other chapters to broaden our learners’ knowledge foundation. For this reason pages 11 and 12 in Tutorial Letter 101 state the chapters to be studied for examination purposes namely: Chapters 1 – 11, 13, 14 and 16. Chapter 6 is for intelligent reading (not reading “for fun�) which means a learner must be able to communicate about this chapter. No direct questions will come from this chapter but background from this chapter is definitely expected. If the difference is confusing, the safest will be to study this chapter. Learners need to study only three paragraphs from Chapters 10 and 14 each.
