Any logic 3 students out there??

Whats your thoughts on the Formal Logic 3 Book love it hate it moody smiley

I just applied for this module, but had no idea there was a prescribed book, cos there is none listed in the general module info!
What is the prescribed book, I better get it soon ~ haven't got my Tut letters yet?
Is it that bad?

There is no prescribed book. There is only a study guide. There is a shift in focus compared to the previous modules as you'll soon find out. smiling smiley

Yep no prescribed text book smile

I think its quite easy, but really don't like this study guide sad smiley

I like the subject so far, it feels like all the previous work and the CompSci work is coming together. I think the material is very well written and entertaining to read. Although some things can be explained in a bit more detail.

Loved the previous modules. Btw my book is also coming apart too sad smiley

Um. Maybe I haven't read my book enough yet,
but mine is still holding together.

On a different note, why is there so little
activity on this forum? Are there just too few
students? Perhaps the subject matter is too
easy (I'm certainly not finding it a walk in
the park!).

Hmmm theres only 83 of us, as to how many of us use this forum is another question confused smiley

I agree goose,for me chapter 1 was quite easy. Chapter 2 i had major problems understanding

But at least theres quite some time till Assignment 2 smoking smiley
