Hi,

Assignment 1, Q3.2, the question is about the "experimental Synthesis operating system".

I can't find reference to this in 7th ed of SGG (prescribed book).

Are they referring to Virtual Computing ?

Apparently the Synthesis operating system is a theoretical one which represents any operating system implemented with an assembler integrated into the kernel. The question is not related to a specific operating system.
