Hi ,

Does any one have an idea on how to answer question 4.3 in Assignment 1?

Where can I find more info, chapter 4 in the Text book does not help much.

Also, which programming language must we write the answer in?

Hi Marnus

I don't think you need to implement a program to answer the question. Have a look at page 127 in the Texbook. At the bottom of the page it will tell you how multi threads is used in programs.

The tricker part to that question is to find out how multi threads will not help one to improve performance in ones program.
