Power failure - rewrite when?

Hi

During our exam in Randburg, there was a power failure and the invigilators informed us that Unisa said we could leave and rewrite if we wanted. I think we are probably the only students who will? Not sure if i am the only 1 who left, but with not being able to see properly and the other students causing a disturbance, i chose to leave as it was distracting enough to concentrate. The exam paper was very nice considering all the mayhem we went thro this year, and was wondering if the sup is going to be the re-write?

Can the lecturers please let me know asap?

How did everyone else feel about the paper?

i wrote in pretoria and yes the the paper was reasonable i think thumbs up

I just think that the paper was not worthy to be a pass for "advanced programming"

advanced programming in this case was to learn a framework, just like we did in cos113 was it? remember ezwindows?

who knows what the topic of this subject really was smiling smiley
but design patterns is an advanced topic , its about recognising patterns before a system is written to be able to apply the best techniques when designing it.. just that the exam didn't test the programming part much..i am just SO GLAD that its over.... jkoorts you're a saint to have shared your notes with everyone smiling smiley

I also wrote at Randburg but decided to continue in the dark, no way I was going to take more days off.

I have to disagree, I didn't like this exam for the following reasons:
- The mark allocation was awfull.
- The questions were vague and open ended.
- I still don't know what was really required for the long question (headers, source, both, did we have to write the whole function again or just indicate change this to that?)

I'm sure I passed but I have no idea if I did well or not.

oh ja you are right there, i forgot, they asked us to write code for like 3 points, or 6 points some of them

i wrote at parow. i sat begin a girl with a black summer's dress. it was like 30 degrees thursday.

yeah the last question was also a bit vague for me, but i figured what the hell.

Just got an sms from Unisa, the exam is being re-written on the 19th of November at 14h00.

Thank goodness I finished anyway, Cos301 is that morning! eye popping smiley

Jean i also got the sms. My last exam in this month so i'm grateful for the extra time...

does this rewrite applies to Randburg student, if not please send me that sms @ deon.nhlumayo@labour.gov.za since I've lost my cellphone before I wrote my exam. But the paper knocked me off, complete TKO.

i'm only writing next year but i am seriously worried.
someone maybe have a short summary of it? i know it can't be removed from the exam location,
