Please note that COS3114 is NOT an open book exam. Apologies for not stating this clearly in the examination tutorial letter. Refer to your examination tutorial letter for a discussion of what to expect in the examination.

I have always anticipated anything while in preparations. But sad for such inconsistencies.

i was more worried that it was giong to be open book, i think we are lucky that its not, there is not much theory in the book, if we were going to have open book it would mean really understanding all those design patterns and that book is not sufficient.

Yup, I agree with iva. With open book they can't just ask simple theory questions out of the book, they test your understanding on a whole different level.

I trust that it is in our interest and that we will get a fair exam taking all the issues this year into consideration.

exams. 311, 340 and 351!!!
