Hello everyone

Assignment 1 question 12 asks for the incorrect statement, but they are all correct, or am I missing something?

Then Question 14 asks which statement is true, once again all 3 are true? Option 4 "None of the above" is technically false since all of the above is true. But can that really be the answer they want, if it is why not just say Ã¢â‚¬Å“All of the aboveÃ¢â‚¬??

I called and they said question 14 & 24 will not be marked, I'm not sure about 12 but I thought there was a possible answer.

If you are submitting the assignment electronically, you have the option to select "None".
That's what I did for question14

I do submit assignments electronically. But the Ã¢â‚¬Å“noneÃ¢â‚¬? option is like not giving an answer and I'd rather select an answer that has a 1 in 4 chance of being right than not select an answer at all.

Other than question 12 and 14 I havenÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t had any problems with this assignment, and thought it to be quite easy, but my studies have taught me that when I find something easy I usually end up with crappy results, when I find something hard to do, I usually do very well!

Hi there,

why will question 14 not be marked???????? If you read the question carefully , you will realize that there IS ONE INCORRECT answer.

That is correct, the problem is with the answering combination, they listed a,b and c; how are you going to select a correct option when you are presented with 1,2,3 and 4?

umm, Santasi24.

This is not highschool. This is not OBE. You are required to think for yourself now. It's not very difficult. Darius' suggestion was not that complicated to come by. If you have trouble making this analogy, I suggest you reconsider your choice in degree.

Hi guys

For question 12, I guess the correct option is 2 since Sequencing is a method of identifying segments that belong to the SAME groups of subdivided data.

Yup still around this year. Silly me didn't do the first 3 ass's of cos226 last year so I didn't get enough credits for the exam. The result is, I have to repeat this year. The rest of my stuff is 3rd year stuff with the exception of astronomy (need extra 1st level module) and mat103 (recommended for cos340)

A common mistake is that people use the .com instead of the .co.uk
