Since this particular subject forum seems dead...Thought I'd ask how's the studying going, or how's it not going?

I'm just starting today...aaahhh yes good ole finite automata, nice to see you again...I've missed you...like a hole in the head.

Ill start studying for this exam after my COS221 paper. That's a whole week dedicated to COS201!

I wrote my last exam on Friday and because last week was hectic with having to write three exams, I decided to take this weekend off. I'm going to have to try hard to motivate myself tomorrow to start studying. This is the first break I've had in months and it was really good.

Yep..

At least there is a bit of time before this exam....although probably not enough ...as I'll probably procrastinate it away....hehe

Haven't started yet. Still got 2 more (COS 214 & COS221) before I even start thinking of COS201 again.

I got through just over half of chapter 5 - Finite Automata last night.
so far so good...

Now that I have enough time to go through the textbook slowly and properly, I'm actually enjoying this subject. I'm only on Finite Automato so I'll see how much I still like it when I get onto the more advanced stuff smile

Chapter 3 places a heluva lot of emphasis on recursive definitions and inductive proofs. I Suppose there's no doubt that they will feature in the exam.

(esnips and mihd are the least annoying free storage space around, mihd allows big files and download managers. I hate Rapidshare, 4shared.com is sometimes problematic, and Box.net is not too consise)
