Are we meant to correct the code for Assignment 2 question 1. The instructions are vague...Just says type out and compile. It doesn't say there are syntax errors that need to be corrected...And there are syntax errors like < instead of << or was that a typo moody smiley

Someone please confirm or clear this up...

In my humble opinion, the mistake is a typo and the question is to just type out the code, get the little program to compile and submit a print out of the working solution. Monkey see monkey do!!!

According to what i understood i think the program is compiling properly just that the final output is wrong so we need to fix that part.If i submit the assignment via myunisa must the submited program have the *.cpp extention?

Have a look at the tut letter pages 11 / 12, that should clear things for you...

Why would the output be wrong?

Hi, as far as I know the assignment must all be in 1 file, so you need to copy all your programs into something like a word document and name them question 1, 2 etc

Not sure wot everyone else is going on about...

But question 1 will not compile because there is a syntax error. And if it wont compile u not gonna get an output, which is all they require for the question 1. Its < instead of <<. But like stated above we taking it as a typo.
