Chapter 5 Programming Exercises for the tutorial

I seem to be having some trouble with these programming exercises.
Question 1:
I get the sum but the number is displayed in reverse order, e.g. 456 , sum = 15 but the number is displayed as 654.
Question 3; I do not quite understand what is required.

Any hints, tips or advice would be appreciated.
