edit question 2 pages?
March 13, 2012 11:51PM
I was wondering if its ok if we use php to process on 2 pages for edit.php only......in other words
for edit.php page to display the data that we collected from the other page and lets say update.php to update the data

the reason why im asking this is i process the data n displays it n updates correctly bt after i submit i get undefined variables on each row in the form

If its a no or it i will lose marks for that then ill have to find a way to correct it
Any ideas?

You have to use an if/else statement on one page. Read previous forums for underfined variables solution.

Remember that from the list page there is a link to the edit page, the only way to deal with that kind of situation is by using if /else if statement. see persistant.php in the text book to keep track of all your variables
