Solution : Assignment 1, Q13 wrong?

I feel the answer for question 13 of Assignment 1 should be number 2 and NOT number 1 as indicated in the solution. Since counter starts as 1 (and not 0) and the while loop runs for as long as counter < 5 (and not equal to), the loop will run for when counter equals 1, 2, 3 and 4 which is 4 times and not 5.

Tutorial letter 201 which we have already sent out agrees.

Language: HTML
page 7 ICT2613/201/01/2010 counter = counter + 1; } 1. 5 2. 4 3. 3 4. 2 Answer 13: 2

I received the output from the MCQ results just yesterday, and just had a look at it - they actually pointed out question 13 as agianst the trend, so it seems plausable that there may have been a mistake on the MCQ. I will have to investigate since we did not draw up this MCQ - but nevertheless it will be corrected in one way or another.

Thank you Dr. Mac, and I do hope that the results will be updated on myUnisa without any further contribution on our part.

Yip - there was a mistake. They will re-run the automated marking process - not sure how long it will take but it will be done.
