HUAWEI SEED OF THE FUTURE PROGRAMME
May 31, 2019 06:36AM
The USAf Office is once again kindly requesting your assistance to distribute this email to the relevant University Faculty within your university. We would like to request that the Faculty promotes this opportunity amongst their students and to encourage eligible and interested students to apply for the 2019 Huawei Seeds for the Future Programme.

The Huawei Seeds for the Future programme offers undergraduate students (3rd or 4th year students) in ICT a two week training and cultural experience in China. During the first week; participants stay in Beijing, where they will be exposed to Chinese language and culture with basic lessons in Mandarin, Chinese Calligraphy and Painting. They also visit world-renowned historical sites. In week two, participants will travel to Huawei’s Headquarters in Shenzhen, where they will tour the Huawei Technology Exhibition Centre and work in Huawei’s most advanced labs, getting exposure to the latest ICT technologies such as 5G, LTE and cloud computing. In 2019, another 10 SA students will embark on a 17-day trip to China from 26 August – 6 September 2019.

Applications are now open for students to apply. The closing date for applications is 21 June 2019. See the link below for more information on the programme, selection criteria and application process.
