myLife access
September 01, 2017 09:13AM
The option for students to get to their mylife emails is no longer possible. The technology used for the integration is longer supported. At 16h30 today the message on the myUnisa site for email access was changed to the following :

To access your myLife email account outside of the myUnisa portal please do the following:

1. Go to the http://mylife.unisa.ac.za/
2. Enter your full email address and the password used for your myUnisa account.
3. Select Sign in

Students can still get to their email, just not via myUnisa.

Have you claimed your myUnisa login ?, here - http://www.unisa.ac.za/sites/myunisa/default/

Then login to myUnisa, username is your student number, use password provided.
You will see tabs with your modules listed across the top of the page.
Click on them - you will see a menu with various options - "Official Study material", "Assignments" etc
Within "Official Study Material" you will find Tutorial Letters - download and read Tutorial Letter 101 - all information is in there.

Some modules also have information in "Learning Units".

Depends to an extent on what modules you are registered for.

For 'normal' Unisa modules - login to myUnisa, click on the appropriate module tab at the top, then click on "Official Study Material" on the menu on the left.
Download Tutorial Letter 101.

Some modules also have study material under "Learning Units", or "Additional Resources".

For CENSE short courses - click on the appropriate forum below.

These forums are for the use by School of Computing students (and not all of them). You should make use of the discussion forums for your modules that are available on myUnisa (assuming your lecturer/s have made discussion forums available as a tool). If not, best to contact your lecturer/s.
